The Market at Comcast center opened June 16. This is the first in my series of reviews of the eateries. As a bonus here's my review of the soon to open Mexican Post: overpriced, overcooked dog shit.
Sauce makes or breaks an Italian Restaurant. La Scala's uses a home recipe that is light and slightly sweet. It tastes excellent. The Gnocchi Caprese is a good mix of homemade sauce, homemade dough and mozzarella cheese. It is a quick meal that will keep you filled for hours. Just a warning, eating too much Gnocchi is the equivalent of swallowing a brick. It is also one of the pricier items on the menu, so only get this meal every now and again.
